Look After Yourself, Take A Multi

No matter how hard we try, the complications of life make it tough to get everything we need in terms of diet and exercise. And unless we’re cooking all our meals at home we have little control on their preparation; overcooked vegetables are common and unfortunate because life-enhancing nutrients are leeched out.

Studies show the benefits of going organic, limiting soy intake and identifying any food intolerances and allergies; it’s difficult to find what works for us as individuals but it makes a world of difference to our quality of life. Still, as we strive to do everything we can to be fit and healthy it’s remarkable how few of us consistently take a multivitamin.

Studies show that multivitamins can be incredibly beneficial for building strong bodies and improving the quality of hair, skin and nails. They’ve also shown to improve energy levels, help regulate mood swings, help prevent the formation of more dangerous stress-related illnesses, and more.

So why don’t we take that simple health-benefitting measure on a daily basis? Is it because it’s simply too easy to forget? Just like with remembering names there are plenty of tricks one can do to help offer a reminder; consider keeping a small pillbox with you at all times, or setting a phone or watch alarm. Even a note near your toothbrush may assist. Whatever it takes for you to remember to take a multi, try taking a daily vitamin consistently for a month or two and see if you don’t notice the benefits.
